Coaching Carousel Predictions. The offseason is upon us and that means teams are shaking up their coaching staffs. This means that we get to take our annual look at coordinators who could make the leap to become head coaches, and the teams who are likely to poach them.
The prime candidates identified by our experts are: Robert Hernandez - Offensive Coordinator - Berlin Express Steve Ortiz - Defensive Coordinator - Spokane Stags Steven Wagoner - Defensive Coordinator - Iceland Bombers Marlon Spurlock - Offensive Coordinator - Iceland Bombers Brandon Brown - Offensive Coordinator - Gothenburg Foxes Elvin Christopher - Offensive Coordinator - Florence Flaming Flamingos
As always, we are prone to wild speculations, so we asked our in-house experts to do a little matchmaking between candidates and teams. Here is what they came up with:
Mary Moore: Brandon Brown leaves the Foxes to become the head coach for the Calgary Mounties.
Darren Francis: I think the Bombers lose Marlon Spurlock and I see him heading to Calgary Mounties.
Jim Nox: The Bombers cannot hold on to Marlon Spurlock. I would like to see him coach the Perth Piranhas.
Jeremy Piper: Steven Wagoner is certainly on the move. That means Bombers will need a new coordinator. As for where Wagoner ends up? Well, I think Calgary Mounties is a good bet.Contract UpdatesThe following players have unlocked bonuses in their contracts based on their performance last season: Claude William - WR (Boston Corsairs) unlocked a 5% bonus for Catches (Target: 40 / Accomplished: 77).
